While they were eating, Jesus took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and giving it to his disciples said, "Take and eat; this is my body." Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed on behalf of many for the forgiveness of sins."

Children preparing for sacraments must attend classes regularly for two consecutive years. All students must have a basic knowledge of the Catholic Faith appropriate for their age level, which is taught in the first year. Preparation for first Confession and first Communion is taught in the second year of instruction.
Mandatory parent meetings are scheduled to equip parents to participate actively in their child’s sacramental preparation. Attendance at the Communion Retreat is required for students in their second year.
Regular attendance is expected for those children preparing for their Sacraments. No more than 3 absences are allowed. In the case of an absence, there will most likely be homework assigned or a required make-up class. If there is a health situation that requires consultation with the Director, please schedule an appointment to discuss it.
