One Bread, One Body
Family Faith Formation
Our parish program of faith formation is designed to support and nurture the faith life of each family. As Catholics, we know that, “parents are the first and foremost educators of their children [who] educate or catechize informally, but powerfully by example and instruction.” National Catechetical Dictionary.
Our focus is meant to offer opportunities for families to share and grow in their faith together. At a minimum, parents are asked to attend meetings and social/formational events, in addition to participating in parish life with their children through Mass, prayers, and family events.

* Reminder: All are encouraged to have our children receive complete faith instruction from 1st through 8th grades.

Experience has taught us that faith formation programs succeed best where faith is a vital part of the life of the family and larger faith community. Our Family Faith Formation Program warmly embraces parents as the first and formost educators in their child's religious formation. It is designed to support families of children enrolled in our religious education ministries to meaningfully accompany them on their own faith journey. Along the way, parents are invited to discover the meaning and presence of God's activity in their own lives.
Welcome to Family Formation! Parents, grandparents, or guardians are invited to join us once a month for take-home, activity based, lesson packets, (grades 1-6). Adult instruction is offered in English and Spanish.
The children will come with the adults for a classroom lesson that week, as well. We look forward to welcoming the children and being your partner in their faith formation.
Youth in 7th grade and above are generally beginning preparation for Confirmation. NEW this year: For those seeking to return after a lapse of 2 or more years since their last instruction, applications will be accepted for review and appropriate placement.
